Tron at Vave: figures from 2023 that still stand on its help pages
Vave’s help centre answers “What cryptocurrencies are accepted at Vave?” with one line: “BTC, ETH, BCH, DOGE, USDT (ERC20, TRC20, Solana), LTC, TRX, XRP, EUR, USD.” It is dated 14/09/2023. TRX is there, and USDT is there with TRC20 named.
A second article gives minimum deposits, among them 38.823543 for TRX and 5 for USDT on TRC20. It is dated 18/09/2023. Both pages are three years old as we write, and we put that in front of the figures and not behind them.
What the coin list establishes, and what it does not
The article’s title asks which coins are accepted, and TRX is named in the answer, so “Vave accepts TRX” is the operator’s own statement. The line has no “only” and no “the following”, so a coin missing from it is not thereby refused. That matters in the other direction too: nothing here says the list was complete in 2023 or is complete now. For TRX no network is named. For USDT the list names three, and TRC20 is one.
The minimums, and how old is too old
The minimum-deposit article lists TRX at 38.823543 and USDT at 5 on TRC20, 19.99145606 on ERC20 and 3 on Solana. The long decimals on several coins read to us like a conversion done on a single day. That is our reading and not Vave’s statement. Whatever their origin, they are three years old, and a minimum is the kind of number an operator changes. We print them because they are the operator’s own and dated, and we send you to the cashier because it is the only place with today’s.
Tron appears three times, in two forms
Once as the coin, TRX, in the list of accepted currencies. Once as a token route, USDT on TRC20, in the same list. Once more in the minimums, where the TRC20 route for USDT is set at about a quarter of the ERC20 one. The article does not say why the two differ, and we do not guess at a reason. What it settles is narrower and still useful: at this operator, at least in 2023, Tron was a route for the stablecoin and a coin in its own right, and the two had separate lines.
